The Moving Beyond Congestion project is a joint planning effort of the Regional Transportation Authority, the Chicago Transit Authority, Metra and Pace. We have partnered with hundreds of community organizations, chambers of commerce, labor unions, schools and universities, municipalities, councils of governments and local elected officials. Our goal is to maintain, enhance and expand our job-creating transit network, as we believe mass transit has been and will continue to be among the best economic investments the citizens of Northeastern Illinois can make.
